Yay!

So Rory was out of town last night. Boo. I hate sleeping alone, I always have really screwed up dreams and wake up panicked and lonely.

On the bright side, he's 20 minutes from home :) My friend Cee is on a bus from Saskatoon to here, she's staying with us this week. Yay, excitement!

So today is going to be spent cleaning, for the most part. I've already done a bit of cleaning (not a hell of a lot, but it's a start...), and Rory's going to help me when he gets home.

Last night, I hooked up his external monitor to my laptop and decided that I quite like the setup, so my friend Karnal is going to be bringing a few monitors with him when he comes out from Victoria later this week (for my birthday celebration with friends =] ) for me to try out. I'm planning on buying one from him, Rory might buy another.

Yay! Life is sorting itself out and is better than usual =] And as much as I hate cleaning, it'll be worth it.

That being said, we have to STOP buying furniture-like things until we've moved again, because there is absolutely NO room in this house for any more big bulky things. My parents are going to give us a dining room table, a desk and a small sofa loveseat (that I will put a slipcover on, because it's an awful flowered print and looks pretty terrifying) when we get another place. Not positive when that will be... probably in the fall, at the rate things are going right now.

We're also starting to get details ironed out for our trip to BC this August.

I'm feeling pretty good about life today =]
