Today is one of those days where I feel like one of the lamest (as in most pathetic) human beings in existance.
Why?
Because the website that I use for 95% of my foruming, that I've been a member of since I was in 8th grade (which is more years ago than I really want to admit...), is down. I'm not entirely sure why, but apparently nobody has been able to connect since about... oh, 6:00 this morning? Every time I try to access it, I get a 500 internal server error. Which does absolutely nothing to explain what's ACTUALLY going on, aside from the fact that they can't really explain it.
I heard a rumor somewhere that whoever runs this site may have neglected to renew the domain name registration, and if that's the case, WHAT POOR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT. Thousands of teenagers and young adults use this website on a daily basis (its' target audience is the 14-19 year old crowd, yes I'm nearly 21 and yes I'm a weird lame loser with no life for continuing to post there...), and they have a paid-feature system where users can pay for extra site features (such as creating their own forums, etc)...
Now, as far as I know the site has really minimal staff (I've heard rumors that it may just be one or two people left as paid staff members), so where is all this money going? Why are they not taking care of things? Seriously, if this *is* a domain name registration thing, WOW.
It's all a bit of a /facepalm moment, really.
... but I gotta say, I *really* want my forums back! Bah!
