Day 5:

Day 5 - Pictures of (ten) things that make you happy

Pictures? Really, you want PICTURES?

Urgh. But I'm lazy today! I'm tired, so I'm doing a quick post and then I'm going to bed. I'm a lameface, I know, but we just spent two hours walking around Londonderry Mall (which is actually nice and quiet, a nice change from how busy Southgate has been lately).

Anyways, ten things that make me happy! Putting this behind a clickthrough because I hate reading blogs where the entire entry is long and full of images and it's all on the main page. Mostly because it makes my browser laggy sometimes.

Whine, whine, whine.

Tea.
Lola! My parents' miniature poodle.
Rory. (You're thinking "I should certainly hope so!!", haha). And yes, there's a reason why I chose this specific picture-- I love how we can be goofy and weird together and it just suits us perfectly. THAT makes me happy.
My sister! And how our personalities are so very, very different but even then... we still get along quite well. The part that makes me particularly happy is how much our relationship has improved in the past year and a bit. I'm so glad that I can consider her a friend.
Sunday Morning Dim Sum. Omnomnomnomnom. My favourite parts? Shrimp cakes, shrimp dumplings and sticky rice.
Christmas!
Camping in the summer. Our trip to Shuswap this past August was one of the most relaxing, fun weeks I've had in years.
Nostalgic, weird things like stuffed animals from TV shows I watched as a little kid. Anyone remember "Lamb Chop's Play-Along"?
How weird and yet very awesome my family can be. For example, using a paper plate and garbage bag to turn my cousin Stephen Joel into the Phantom of the Opera so that he and his sister Kristin can do an "accurate duet" of the the song "The Phantom of the Opera".
Pretty things like flowers, even though I'm a total failure as a gardener. Seriously, I killed TWO CACTI. And gave the last little succulent to David because he's a lot less likely to murder it than I am. I felt so bad, poor little cacti =(   ... so, being able to enjoy the beauty of nature without having to put in the effort to grow it myself makes me happy!!
