Day 4:

Day 4 - Something you're looking forward to
I'm going to separate this out into a few different parts-- both the soon-to-happen, things in the next year, and things that will happen EVENTUALLY.

The Soon-To-Happen: Christmas! It's always been my favorite holiday, and one of the few ones that I can really celebrate with my family without too much outside stuff coming in to make it tense and uncomfortable. Really, let's be honest here. I'm a completely different person than my parents want me to be, and I've made some decisions that they don't like. But Christmas is one of the times where we just put all that aside, and enjoy each others' company. This year, Rory and I are going up to his aunt's house in Girouxville for Christmas Eve with his side of the family, then we'll be back in Edmonton for a slightly-delayed Christmas dinner with my family on Boxing Day.

I love Christmas. SO much.

Soon-To-Happen part 2: We're planning on moving back to the west end of town in the next couple months, hopefully by the end of January. Of course, this all depends on Rory getting a new job in the west end. I can transit to work really easily (I don't drive, don't have a car...), so I can live almost anywhere in the city as long as I can get onto an LRT without an hour's worth of bussing.

Don't get me wrong, I love where we live now (because we have awesome landlords), but it's a bit small for our current needs.  And I really miss having a bathtub, I haven't had one since April.

In the Next Year: I'm planning on being to the point where I can take part-time courses online or on campus in the next year. Not entirely sure in WHAT quite yet, I'm still tossing around the idea of massage therapy, but I really want to get more education.

I'm also planning on getting more driving practice in, and taking Driver's Ed and getting my license.

Things that will Happen Eventually: Owning a house. Getting a degree or a diploma or certificate of SOME sort, maybe starting our own business? Buying a car. Maybe eventually getting married and having a family (wouldn't happen for at least 3-5 years, haha)... But yes. Life. I look forward to spending my life with the man of my dreams, and all the adventures that go along with it.
