2) There is a woman on the LRT sitting about 15 feet away from me who looks to be in her mid 40s, and is wearing pink flowered capris, matching pink flowered SOCKS, and ballet flats. Why? I can't figure it out.
Oh well, I guess that there's no accounting for taste
3) Rory told me on the way to the train station this morning that he usually refills his travel mug that I make tea in every morning a couple times during the day. This made me happy, because I bought him a tea ball a couple weeks ago and you can usually get at least 2 or 3 mugs of tea out of one tea ball. Which means that my devious little plan (haha) to turn him into a tea drinker is WORKING!! Yay!
4) Aside from sunscreen and bugspray, I think we have all of the things we need for our trip to Shuswap. Unless Rory wants to buy an air mattress and a cooler, but I think we're going to borrow those from someone. That being said, I think buying an air mattress would be a good idea. We have friends stay over (read: Wyatt) on a semi-regular basis and I always feel bad when they sleep on our loveseat. We don't even own a full-sized couch to stretch out on! I had one, but we couldn't fit it down the flight of stairs into the basement suite. Which was pretty frustrating, actually, because my grandparents had given me the la-z-boy couch (with a pull-out sofa bed!) And loveseat.
5) I think the reason that I tend to get so bitter about WoW is because Rory often ignores everything he promises me he'll do at home when he's wrapped up in a game. If he just made sure that everything was done before he started playing, I wouldn't complain about it much... If at all!
6) That being said, I still hate doing housework.
7) We need to buy vacuum bags. I made myself sick vacuuming the other day because it tossed dust mites into the air. Not cool.
Well, that or we need to buy a new vacuum. Our landlords gave us the one we have now, but it's on its last legs. Maybe I should look for a new one on Kijiji?
8) I'm more tired this morning than I want to admit. But I'm okay with that because I have my tea. And Rory packed leftovers for me to take for lunch today. He's cute like that.
9) Leaving the bedroom screen window open as far as we did last night was nice, but next time I think we ought to close it halfway. I was not impressed with how chilly I was this morning when I got up.
10) It would be a lot easier to try to find a new job if I ever got any weekday afternoons off that weren't stat holidays. And while I feel a bit bad for wanting to bail on my company, I really don't get paid enough for the work I do. And I certainly don't get paid enough for all the drama I deal with. Or how much my manager yells at me. Everyone brushes it off at my store, saying "oh that's just the way he is", but it's still not right. But at the same time, my education and my workplace experience are limited. I need to go back to school... But Rory needs a better job, first. Otherwise we won't be able to afford it. And financial stability (rather, semi-stability) is important and necessary.
I think I have too much time to think in the mornings.

Hun, I think you are tired:
1. I'm (surprisingly) not tired at all this morning.
8. I'm more tired this morning than I want to admit.
Doesn't make much sense.
Keep applying for admin jobs, there's an ass for every reception desk, and hopefully yours will land in one soon.
Oh! And as for bugspray, get OFF! FamilyCare Smooth & Dry. It doesn't smell awful, it's great for sensitive skin (I don't react) and, most important, it WORKS!
Augh! Well, proves how loopy and unfocused I was this morning.
I wonder if Rexall has that bugspray... I should look into it.
=)
