Too bad I have nothing to do to day.
Well, technically speaking, I *should* be cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. But I don't know whether or not I feel like trying to work my way through all those dishes right now... so... I give you a Lego sandworm!!
I've been re-reading Frank Herbert's Dune (for about the billionth time) this week... it's kind of difficult when I can only read for about five or ten minutes at a time during slow times at work. Especially since I don't really read when I get home-- there's just too much to do! --but it's still one of my all-time favorite sci fi series.
The cool thing about the series is that it was written 45 years ago! Yes, published first in 1965. Frank Herbert was *way* ahead of his time. Too bad George Lucas didn't credit Herbert for the inspiration for Star Wars, because it's painfully obvious that he used a lot of characters and concepts from Dune. *SIGH* Oh well, Dune is still a ZILLION times cooler.
