Thank you for the 24 hours' notice that you would be entering my suite. We did as you asked and secured the cat where she wouldn't interrupt your work or be at any risk for getting injured.
However, we couldn't arrange for a kitten-sitter and our only option was to lock her in the bathroom all day. So we did that-- we left her in there with her food and water dishes and her litter box.
We come home, expecting to see three new closet doors in the front hallway, but what did we see? Nothing had been done. Nope, we locked Shiva in the bathroom all day, let her out and she was very frazzled and clingy. All for nothing.
