Day 3:

I have another entry that I'm pretty stoked to work on, but I wanted to do this one first...

Day 3 - Your siblings and parents

For the first three and a half years of my life, I was a lonely only child. And I really do mean "lonely"... I had parents who adored me and grandparents who took it upon themselves to turn my room into a toy store / book store. But really, I'm a social person at heart (for the most part... unless I'm tired, in which case GET AWAY FROM ME)... and I really did want a sibling to play with! More specifically, a younger sister.

I have one younger sister, Elizabeth. And a few demi-embarassing pictures of us from Facebook to share, hehe.

My parents bought that Christmas tree we're standing in front of the Christmas before Elizabeth was born. (She was born at the beginning of January, 1994.)

Family Photo, circa 2003. I was 13 at the time, Elizabeth would have been 9 turning 10.

At my high school convocation with my dad...
... and my ittle-bitty Mommy!

This past summer. I'm 20, she's 16 now.
And one last picture. Elizabeth is so pretty, it's kinda hard to associate who she is now with the Beppy I knew growing up sometimes. <3
I moved out of my parents' home in October 2009. Since then, my relationship with my younger sister has improved by leaps and bounds. We talk on the phone, we text each other... whereas before there was so much contention and so many arguments between us that it caused a lot of heartache. I'm proud to call her my friend, now!

As far as my parents go...

My parents are Larry and Ramona. They've been married for almost 26 years.
Again, at my high school convocation.
I still don't see eye-to-eye with them on a lot of things, and I suppose I never will. But again, my relationship with them has become better since I've moved. I know I've done a lot of things that they're not happy with, but I'm becoming a lot better at telling them that it's my decision, not theirs, and I've also come to turn to them when I need advice and help. Heck, my mom helped me make two Christmas wreaths yesterday! Well, she did most of the work... I got to hang out with her and pick the things that would look the best. And burn myself with a glue gun at least three times.

I'll post pictures of the wreaths later-- probably next week, when I've done a bit more decorating AND cleaning (hehe), along with our little bitty tree. :)
