I have a huuuge amount of respect for musicians/singers

who seem to use very little auto-tuning in their recordings, apart from it being for effect. And it's always the most apparent in acoustic-style songs... Here are a couple of my favourite examples!

1. P!nk: Holy Dinah. I love P!nk, so much. She's such a talented singer and has so much heart and soul behind her music. Here's a recording of her singing "Who Knew" on David Letterman:

2. Lady Gaga: In a lot of ways, Lady Gaga is remarkably like Marilyn Manson. Both extremely intelligent, business-savvy people-- Manson is an English teacher!-- who use theatricality and shock value to help create an image that both weirds people out and fascinates them completely. Honestly, though, she's got an incredible voice!

... so, yeah. That's my excitement for the day. Acoustically amazing singers.
In case you didn't notice, I realized yesterday that I can embed YouTube videos using the HTML editor on Blogger =P
