Hello, Saturday.

I am PAINFULLY bored right now. But very grateful for my (one-day, *sigh*) weekend.

Rory got up early to go to work this morning, and left me tucked in and out like a light at about 9 this morning.

I woke up at around 10:00, and about five minutes after I started to come out of dreamland, my manager phoned me about the sale-signage project I'd been working on for the past two days. Complaining, because I didn't finish (we ran out of signholders), and saying that his is the ONLY STORE that is not done-- all the others resorted to using acrylic bases for the rest.

Well, GREAT... but we really hardly have ANY acrylic signholders. Have fun finding them!

He was also complaining about how I didn't put the right SKUs on the signs in Bridal, and how I didn't get every sale piece labelled. What he failed to realize is that I labeled everything we HAD-- we got two shipments of stock on Friday, and I did the signs on Thursday. And if the SKU is wrong, the sign is in the wrong place!

Sheesh.

So, I'm completely fed up with working in retail. I'm *trying* to find a new job, I've been applying all over the place... but it's difficult when I work five or six days a week, and the hours I work interfere with any possibility I have of being able to go hand out resumes in person.

I'm almost considering moving up to Grande Prairie or Fort MacMurray in pursuit of better employment.
