What does that mean?
It means that I can compile lists of books that I want to buy, and then sit at my computer in my green chair and book-shop from the comfort of my living room! Huzzah!!
So here's what I just ordered:
- John Milton's Paradise Lost
![]() |
Dante's The Divine Comedy |
- Sarah Dessen's Keeping the Moon and Lock and Key. Don't laugh at me, I'm allowed a feel-good girly book or two once in a while!
Anyways, I went to check out and discovered that I still had an $11.64 credit on my Chapters account from waaaay back in December 2008 when I'd used a gift card online for book shopping! Plus, I have an iRewards account, so I got a bit of a discount there, too. All told and after gift card + discounts were factored in, I paid like $32 and change for my books! And the shipping is FREEEEEEE.
Yay!! I love book shopping :)
I'm almost tempted to take a picture of my bookcase in our room. It's almost totally stacked right now. I need to buy a new one from Canadian Tire or something, especially since I still have about 3 boxes full of books in the dining room waiting for us to move (or...not...).
Have I successfully communicated my nerdishness yet?

p.s. HECK YES, I just found an undeposited GST cheque in my purse (while I was transferring its contents over to my new one that Auntie Silven sent back with my mom for me from New York). Hellooo, groceries and/or book shopping money!!

I've read Paradise Lost, parts of it anyway, from English. Right now it's too modern for my current english class, lol. Not bad.
PS. Android-based phones ftw. I looove my HTC Hero
