Tuesdays seem to be the worst day of the week

... That and the Wednesdays where I get a 200-300 piece stock shipment and can't start working on it until an hour and a half before I'm done work. That's frustrating.

So I was talking to Rory last night on the way home from the Cheesecake Cafe (family dinner), and we might both be getting second jobs this summer. Probably some sort of restaurant job (line cooks? Maybe waiting tables?)... The reason for this being that Rory really does need a new car (the Sunfire is starting to die, sadly), and I want to take driver's ed in the fall, get my licence and buy a car.

Well, that and we both could use the extra income. Especially since we're going to BC for a week in August (oh geez, I need to remember to book that time off...), and it would be nice to have some extra income to make up for us both not working for a week. Rory's week off will be paid, but I'm not sure whether or not mine will be, because I'm supposed to take my vacation before August 1st. That's the start of the new fiscal year in my company, and unused vacation time doesn't accumulate (sadly).

I think I'm starting to get rather tired of my job. I don't exactly want to quit yet, though. At the very least, I'd like to take advantage of my health benefits a bit (lol). I might start looking for a new job this winter. Something in an office-- a receptionist at a law firm would be a nice set-up, come to think of it.

Actually, the optimal solution would be going back to school in January. I'd love to go full-time, but I don't know if we'd be able to afford that. And honestly, I'm not sure which program I'd want to take.

*sigh* so many decisions to make. And then there's moving (again) within the next few months.

I don't want to move again for a LONG time after this, though, so here's to hoping we can find a place that would be suitable for the next few years!
