Getting used to wearing contact lenses again is going to suck a bit, though.
That being said, my healthcare plan covers $50 worth of optical examinations and $100 of glasses/contacts every 24 months. Not a huuuuge financial help, but at least I have -some- coverage.
It'd be nice, however, if I somehow found a better job that gave me better coverage. Especially for prescriptions and dental things, because those are my next priorities once my eyes are taken care of: getting my teeth checked (I need a new dentist, hopefully someone on the north side) and getting as much of the needed work done as I can afford. I know I need at least four fillings (ugh) and my wisdom teeth are probably starting to come in.
So dental, and I really should go to the doctor as well, if for nothing else other than to get my yearly physical and get refills for my inhalers.
Just gonna put this out there, taking care of all of this on my own is slightly weird. I'm rather used to my mom and grandma making all of the appointments -for- me, and just showing up.
Yay, independence?
