she's a trooper!

My sister fell off the horse she was on at her riding lesson (she's a horseback rider, yes I'm jealous) this afternoon. It stepped on her foot.

OUCH.

Thankfully, it's not broken. Just super-bruised. But she needs to have it x-rayed tomorrow.

She's on crutches.

But is oddly... excited about that? I don't get her sometimes.

Anyways, my point IS: I'm a HUGE baby about pain... unless I'm getting pieced, I'm a wuss. So kudos to her for not whingeing and crying about it! Just grumbling about how it hurts to walk (read: Hey, Dorkface, DON'T WALK ON YOUR INJURED FOOT. YOU HAVE CRUTCHES FOR A REASON!).

Funny thing is: She was talking to someone before her riding lesson and the last thing they said to her was "don't die". The next they hear from her, she's fallen off her horse, got stepped on, and is at the medicentre. Someone's a jinx! =P

Considering how long she's been riding for (at least 4 years, I really can't remember), she's been injured a lot less frequently than many people would imagine. I think she's had one concussion, and now this.

Tough Younger Sister is TOUGH.

... and i'm a shrivelly little wimp.
