How to Sort Laundry:

Well, when I'm doing laundry for myself and Rory, it's pretty simple.
It usually gets done in 3 batches:

1) Black clothing: everything of Rory's, my work clothing, underwear.
2) Coloured clothing: this is all mine
3) Lights: again, all mine.

Rory owns maybe 4 non-black shirts... I've kinda given up on getting him to wear any casual clothing that isn't black. Whatever, it's what he's most comfortable in.

That being said, the first dress shirt I have to buy him is going to be either blood red or dark green.

Can you tell that I'm sitting here folding clothing? I'm working my way through about 12 pairs of black socks (Rory's), eight pairs of boxers (in various shades of black and grey)--again, Rory's, and the odd smattering of black underwear that belongs to me.

The laundry makes me look like I'm pretty high maintenance... I don't own any duplicates in socks or underwear (actually, most of my socks are violently bright colours.) My shirts have variety, sweaters for work and r-shirts, yoga pants, leggings, scarves.

Rory, on the other hand, owns TWO work shirts, some band shirts, hoodies, and the socks and underwear that you can buy practically in bulk from Costco. You know, the black socks that come in 12-packs and the underwear that comes in threes? Shopping for him is so simple.

I bought him a Marvel Comics' "Punisher" t-shirt yesterday, it glows in the dark ^_^"

I feel like a housewife.
